Booking and delivery conditions
AmiGOlatino.nl is a service provider in the field of travel arrangements. Through its website AmiGOlatino.nl gives information and advice and enables you to independently make your own bookings. AmiGOlatino.nl provides these services at your request. The general terms and conditions apply to all forms of service provided by AmiGOlatino.nl.
These terms and conditions refer to information, advice, mediation and bookings of and by AmiGOlatino.nl. This takes place through information and advice on and guidance by our site and by means of e-mail or telephone contact. Also where you personally take certain steps on our website, AmiGOlatino.nl mediates on your behalf and makes the bookings. Any statements in this respect made hereinafter in these terms and conditions are to be interpreted accordingly.
AmiGOlatino.nl can make a booking for you. It negotiates an agreement between you and the service provider of your choice. AmiGOlatino.nl itself is not a party in the final agreement. It can for example make bookings for individual airline tickets (scheduled and charter flights), rental cars, hotel rooms, insurance and holiday trips (through tour operators).
Depending on the booking the following terms and conditions shall apply:
In case of scheduled airline tickets the conditions of the relevant airline apply. These are stipulated by each airline individually and depend on the type of fare booked. On our website the lowest fares are shown. These fares usually have strict, non-flexible conditions. The specific conditions for a fare as well as the cancellation or change fee can be requested by telephone at the call centre of AmiGOlatino.nl. The fare information given by telephone is under the usual reserves and no rights can be derived from it.
To all other tours and services the general terms and conditions of the service provider involved apply. These terms and conditions can be requested directly from the supplier.
AmiGOlatino.nl is not liable for the correct execution of the services booked through AmiGOlatino.nl. The terms of delivery of the service provider involved, for example the airline company, hotel chain or tour operator, shall explicitly apply to these services. These terms can be requested directly from the supplier.
You are personally responsible for providing the information necessary to effect and execute a correct booking, including for example the correct name, address information, Email address, place of residence, date of birth, nationality and the like. You are also personally responsible for holding the appropriate valid travel documents (passport, visa, vaccination certificates). For information on visa we refer you to www.visumdienst.nl.
The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age. Upon making a booking through AmiGOlatino.nl you shall be deemed to have taken cognizance of the applicable terms and conditions and to agree to these terms and conditions.
Fares and payment
The price of a ticket is composed of several components. On every scheduled and low cost flight ticket a Customer Service Charge is levied by AmiGOlatino.nl. There is an additional charge of € 20 reservation fee for each file. In step 3 of the reservation you will find the complete summary of the cost per ticket. Step 4 shows a complete overview of all costs, including insurance if any and the delivery/credit card/once only authorisation charges where applicable.
AmiGOlatino.nl reserves the right to reject payment through a once only authorisation and to agree with the client upon another form of payment. AmiGOlatino.nl may request additional information from the client for any type of payment, such as a copy of the passport or a copy of both sides of the credit card. If this request for additional information by AmiGOlatino.nl is not complied with by the client no reservation will be made.
The total travel sum has to be credited to the account of AmiGOlatino.nl within 48 hours after booking. If payment must be received within less than 48 hours, due to a time limit set by the airline, the client will be informed by Email. Without a reaction and timely payment by the client the reservation cannot be processed.
Receipt of travel documents
AmiGOlatino.nl offers a number of options regarding ticket delivery. Sending tickets by mail (regular or express mail) is always at the risk of the client. Tickets with departure from Schiphol, Amsterdam Airport, can be picked up at the Holland Handling desk at additional cost. AmiGOlatino.nl holds no responsibility for loss and/or theft of the travel documents.
AmiGOlatino.nl will not deliver tickets at any other airport than Schiphol, Amsterdam Airport. Sending tickets abroad is always at the clients own risk.
Liability
AmiGOlatino.nl does not accept any liability for acts and/or omissions of the service provider(s) involved, nor for the correctness of any information provided by this/these service provider(s).
AmiGOlatino.nl is not responsible for any commitments made by its personnel and/or third parties which expressly deviate from the conditions stated in these terms and conditions or in the terms and conditions of the responsible service provider, unless they are confirmed in writing afterwards.
AmiGOlatino.nl reserves the right to revoke the fares mentioned on its website within 2 working days. This also applies to fares given and confirmed by Email or by telephone.
The agreement
The agreement is final at the moment it has been confirmed by the client on the website and the client has received a confirmation by Email. Should the client not receive an Email within 15 minutes after confirming a reservation on the website, he must contact the reservations department of AmiGOlatino.nl by telephone.
Flights are not guaranteed until the tickets have been confirmed and paid for. AmiGOlatino.nl reserves the right to revoke its applicable rates within 2 working days.
No cooling-off period
We would like to point out that bookings made through the internet are definite. The so-called cooling-off period, which is called “remote buying” according to the law, is not applicable to travel products you buy through our website, such as flight tickets, holiday trips, car rental, hotels and insurance.
Information
The traveller is to personally obtain any additional information from the authorities involved. He must also check timely whether the information received earlier is still correct before departure of both the outward and the return flight and if he can still travel on the ticket issued earlier. The flight numbers and flight times as stated on the confirmation or itinerary are accurate at the time of the booking. It is possible that the airlines later implement schedule changes, thus changing the flight numbers, times or routings. The ticket may have be adjusted by the airline. For scheduled flights this information can be obtained by calling our reservation department, and the number is +31(0)20-655.47.90. You can also check the information on certain Text pages, by telephone at Schiphol information (0900-0141), via www.schiphol.nl, or locally from the relevant airline.
Since flight numbers and times can also change during your trip, you are advised to verify this information in time before departure of each flight. No time limit can be given in which the times given are definite.
AmiGOlatino.nl will do all that is possible to pass on any known schedule changes to the client. This communication will only be sent to the Email address given by the client at the time of booking.
AmiGOlatino.nl cannot be held responsible or liable for its Emails arriving late or not at all.
Cancellations / Changes scheduled flights
Every cancellation for a scheduled flight is to be reported online through the so called cancellation form. If you wish to cancel a scheduled flight within 7 days of departure you must also contact us by telephone. The cancellation form can be called up via the link that is sent with the booking confirmation. It can also be found at our website on the page “customer service”. The cancellation process will start upon sending the cancellation form. You will receive a number of Emails. You are advised to read these carefully. The cancellation can only be reported by the person who made the reservation. Only when you have agreed with the costs involved the ticket will be cancelled. The amount to be refunded will be credited to your account as soon as the amount is paid by the airline to AmiGOlatino.nl.
ATTENTION: If you make a reservation, there are always costs related to a cancellation or change. In addition to the cancellation/change fee charged by the airline these also include the administrative costs AmiGOlatino.nl must incur to effect the cancellation/change. If you wish to cancel/change a ticket, you can inquire about the costs involved at AmiGOlatino.nl. An administrative fee of EUR 50,- per ticket will be charged for processing a cancellation/change.
If you cancel in accordance with the conditions of your cancellation insurance, you pay our administrative costs + the premium of your cancellation insurance. With the exception of non-refundable airline tickets; for these a maximum of 70% of the ticket price will be refunded. The additional reservation costs charged at the time of booking will not be refunded.
The amount to be refunded is transferred to the client as soon as AmiGOlatino.nl receives the amount from the insurance company. This takes an average of 2 to 3 weeks, but can take considerably longer in some cases (6 to 12 months). The ticket must always be submitted for refund within one year after the original date of departure of the ticket. Otherwise the ticket validity will have expired and no refund can be made.
No refund will be given when the airline cancels its flights or changes its flight schedule. Exceptions are to be determined by the airline concerned. AmiGOlatino.nl can mediate in these cases, but will charge a fee for this service.
Name changes
The name of every passenger must be exactly in accordance with the name on the passport. A wrong name may give rise to substantial problems during your trip, especially in the case of flight tickets ( also holiday flights and trips ), car rental and camper hire. If you travel on a ticket with a miss-spelt name this may result in a refusal of transportation by the airline. When a name turns out to be wrong or miss-spelt after the booking has been confirmed, this must be reported by telephone to the reservations department of AmiGOlatino.nl. We cannot guarantee that a name change will be accepted by the airline.
There will always be a fee for a name change in a confirmed booking. The amount of this fee is subject to the fares and conditions of the airline. Additionally, an administrative fee of EUR 50 per ticket will be charged. After ticket issue a miss-spelt name may result in a new booking with a new ticket without a refund for the previously issued ticket depending on the fare conditions. Airlines, car rental companies and tour operators may stipulate that in case of a name change a new booking has to be made with the correct name and that the original booking must be cancelled. This may result in a higher fare if the previously used fare is no longer available.
The handling of reservations made through our website is a completely automated process. The processing of Emails and reservations does not occur simultaneously. It is possible that Emails are processed later than reservations. We do not accept any responsibility for handling the Email with the correct information later than the booking with the wrong details. It is important to check all information for accurateness before confirming the reservation on our website.
